Take Part Workshops
Take Part Cornwall, working with Parliamentary Outreach and the South West Take Part Champions can now offer a range of short workshops to community groups in the county.
These are designed to be active and fun and to both help individuals and groups to gain information and skills to help them make a difference in their community.
Subjects covered include:

| 5 | What is the Voluntary and Community Sector? | what organisations are there in the sector? what do they do? |
| 6 | What is Democracy? | what does it mean to say we live in a democracy? how does democracy work? |
| 7 | What is Parliament? | what is Parliament for? what does it do and how does it work? |
| 8 | What is Government? | what does the word ‘government’ mean?how is a government formed? what is the relationship between government and Parliament? |
| 9 | How laws are made | how does something become a law? what stages does it go through and how can it be influenced on the way? |
