If you fall behind with your payments, we will require you to enter into a formal agreement saying that you will clear the debt over a period which we will agree with you. If you fail to stick to this agreement we will issue you with a "Notice of Seeking Possession" If you ignore this we will apply to the County Court for possession of your home.
The final action, if you still make no attempt to clear the debt, is eviction. Once a case reaches the County Court and we are granted an order for possession you will have a County Court Judgement (CCJ) against your name. This will show up on any credit search made if you apply to buy anything on credit or to borrow money. If you are evicted or leave your home owing us money either for rent or damage you caused, you will still have to pay your debts. We use recovery agents and the courts to recover these debts.
