Tenant Resource Centre Opens

The Hexagon is Ocean Tenants and Residents Resource Centre based in the heart of Stennack House. It focuses on providing office space and equipment (desks & IT with Internet access) for activities linked to Ocean, training for tenants/residents, young people, families and community volunteers.

The Hexagon is a free resource that can assist in empowering people to take positive action in their community by providing them with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to tackle problems, create effective local groups that help create and maintain sustainable communities.

As a Resource Centre the Hexagon will enable Ocean to; ·

• Provide space for meetings, study, access to the internet and training to a wider audience of people from diverse groups within the community, from the young to the elderly
• Encourage active involvement and participation in community projects
• Promote, develop and support community cohesion
