Ocean Gold, a discount card, is to be launched on 1 September 2008 providing discounts on purchases from well known high street companies in all sectors of retail from shopping for food, fashion, florists, car maintenance, hairdressers, the list goes on.
Group Chief Executive, David Renwick comments "At a time of rising prices, with pressure on family budgets, this seemed the right time to launch Ocean Gold, a discount and rewards card, and help our residents and tenants save money". The card gives discounts ranging from 5 – 25% across a wide range of shops and services. Over 90 local companies have joined the scheme along with a range of high street names.
The reward element of the scheme is that all residents and tenants who have conducted their tenancy with Ocean well, will automatically be eligible for the card and save money. For the small number of residents and tenants who give us, or their community problems, the message is clear – "calm down, improve your behaviour and you will get a Gold Card".
David Renwick stated "All of our resident and tenants will be written to with details of the Ocean Gold Card throughout September, we are confident it will prove popular with residents, tenants and traders and anticipate the scheme will expand rapidly in terms of shops and traders joining the scheme. Most importantly, we hope it will help our residents and tenants!".
