Gilbert and Goode Ltd is a quality Assured and NHBC registered building contractor, delivering building contract works from the smallest domestic extension through to multi-million pound new build schemes for housing association clients.
Well known throughout Cornwall and much of Devon for the quality of its work, craftsmanship and reliability, St Austell based Gilbert and Goode Ltd were acquired by the Ocean Housing Group in January 2005, with the aim of expanding Gilbert and Goode’s traditional building and contracting activities for external clients and to apply its expertise to build Ocean Housing’s new build programme.
Being part of the Ocean Group puts Gilbert and Goode at the heart of the community, building and investing in much needed social housing and improved services for Devon and Cornwall.
Originally established in 1972 the company has grown to the extent that it is now one of the largest Cornish building contractors operating in the region.
